I-connect works together with our partners NMM based in Udaipur , India to support a number of projects
Medical
Generous gifts from our donors have helped to establish a medical clinic in a slum area of Udaipur , with 2 nurses and a recently appointed doctor. This provides services into a poor community in Udaipur. We have also sent teams providing clinics in remote rural villages.
Child Sponsorship
We have established a child sponsorship scheme to support children in a home for orphaned and abandoned children run by NMM. For £ 15 a month you can sponsor a child email mark.speller@indiaconnect.org.uk for further details
Education
I-connect has helped to support St Matthews school , a high-quality, low-fee English medium school in Udaipur.
Tailoring Project
We are funding a training project for women to learn tailoring skills . As a development from this , the not-for-profit company Fairplay is developing a puppet-making business which can employ women graduating from the scheme.
Fildaelfia Bible College
I-connect can also channel UK donations to the Filadelfia Bible College and the churches linked to NMM. See the NMM website link for details of these activities
